This is where I will be posting updates on my trip, my weekly ministry, fundraising, and updates on what the Lord is doing in me and through me.
If you don’t know me I’m 25 years old, living in Londonderry, NH. Right now I’m an assistant daycare teacher in my hometown. Just a brief testimony about how I came to Lord, my walk with the Lord right now and why I am interested in going on a mission trip with the world race.
After high school 2016 I went to college I struggled with peer pressure and begun drinking and hanging out with the wrong people, doing wrong stuff, dropped out, 2019 got invited to go out of state for a job and I went. I went to FL, AZ, CA, and OH. Throughout the whole year of 2019 every state I went to I was introduced to people who became friends with and told me about Jesus, every state I went to someone told me about Jesus. Slowly, the Holy Spirit started a work in me and begun to open my heart up to the Lord. In Florida I met a lady who I began doing bible studies with every Friday, then heard the gospel and trusted in the gift of salvation.. 2020 I came back to New Hampshire and my only friends I had wanted to see me, I stopped drinking but they still were.. March 23, 2020 I got into a car accident with those friends and totalled my car. I lost everything , my car, my job, my friends but at that moment I knew I didn’t want to do this anymore, I knew that nothing could fill me and satisfy me like Jesus, that night I gave my life to Jesus in surrender. Since then I’ve grown in the Lord, my trust in Him and His Word. There’s many of seasons, seasons of waiting and pressing in, seasons of grief and joy, seasons of dryness and of refreshing. Seasons that have been hard and some easy, the Lord was with me through it all. I can say today everything happens to bring the Lord glory whether good or bad, He turns it around for the good!
I have been blessed to have been given this opportunity to go on this mission trip. I want to go on this mission trip to share the hope and gospel of Jesus and watch the power of the cross change the lives around world! I also want to go to get out of the comfort of what I think the “world ” is or the “American world” is like . I want to see the world through the lens of Jesus, to see how others live and cope with society and how see Jesus working in the different areas of culture. I want Jesus to do a work in me and through me. I want to go so God can use me in different ways. I am saying YES to the call Jesus has for my life. I want to live out of faith , fully dependant on Jesus for my needs. To go do what Jesus commands us to do in Mark 16 15-16 Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. It may not make sense to some to leave my job, my family, my church, my friends, my hometown. But know that God has a plan and you are part of it!
